By now, you’ve undoubtedly heard about the massive (and seemingly) relentless wave of layoffs that are occurring in the tech industry. What makes it worse is that over 100,000 of our friends, family members, and colleagues are scrambling to figure out what’s next heading into the holidays. It’s tragic and it’s scary.

At anthym, it’s in our DNA to lean into our humanity. And make no mistake about it, this massive industry reduction is as human as it gets – over 100,000 people, many supporting families, and all with financial obligations are in need of immediate assistance…even if it’s something as simple as, “I see you. I hear you”.

To do our part, we just launched a very work-in-progress, free resource called Journey.

Journey combines our one-of-a-kind self-reflection exercise and connection framework, backed by top neuroscientists, and specifically tailors anthym to the individual journey. It encourages self-reflection, provides inspiration, reduces isolation and loneliness, and accelerates healing.

We’ve also created alumni groups for former employees who experienced high-profile layoffs at companies like Meta, Twitter, Stripe, Microsoft and many more.

Our hope is that these groups will create opportunities to meaningfully connect with colleagues and inspire each other to discover their next chapters.
